Role Overview
Kodak is seeking a Quality Technician to join our Specialty Chemicals, Inks & Dispersions (SCID) team in Rochester, NY.
The Quality Technician plays a key role in maintaining and improving an ISO 9001:2015-compliant Quality Management System (QMS) in support of Kodak's Specialty Chemicals, Inks & Dispersions Division. This position is responsible for ensuring quality system compliance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating across multiple functional teams to uphold quality standards throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within ISO 9001 and/or cGMP-regulated environments, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively interact with a diverse workforce, including scientists, engineers, production personnel, operators, and laboratory technicians.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the division's ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System.
- Manage quality documentation, including reviewing, revising, approving, and controlling quality records and procedures.
- Collaborate with divisional leadership to establish, communicate, and achieve strategic quality objectives.
- Review and maintain material and product specifications to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Track and document nonconformance reports (NCRs), investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and related quality records.
- Participate in quality investigations and support root cause analysis activities.
- Assist with internal and external quality audits, ensuring audit readiness and timely resolution of findings.
- Generate and support implementation of corrective action requests (CARs).
- Prepare data, metrics, and presentations for Management Review meetings.
- Partner with management and cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support compliance initiatives and promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Qualifications
Required
- Associate's Degree (A.S. or A.A.S.) or Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in a technical or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a self-directed environment and collaborate with personnel at all organizational levels.

Preferred
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
- Experience in cGMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience supporting quality audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
