Quality Technician (Precision Engineering)
Gloucester
£17 - £19 + Training + Progression + Overtime + Days Based + Early Finish Friday + Bonus
Are you a Quality Inspector from a precision engineering background looking to develop your career within a specialist manufacturer, working on high-value marine and oil & gas components whilst gaining further technical expertise and enjoying excellent work-life balance?
This leading precision machining company manufactures key metal components to mainly Marine / Oil and Gas companies however will supply to any industry. After 61 years they are still growing and are looking for a CNC Programmer to join their tight-knit workshop.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Using CMM measuring software to conduct inspections and performing precision measurements
- Using micrometres, callipers and gauges
- Working closely with engineering team to maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and related documents

This role would suit someone who has a background working in an ISO9001 environment as a Quality Inspector who is looking for company benefits and working with high precision manufacturing.
The Role:
- Identify and document defects
- Maintain accurate records of inspections
- Monday - Thursday (7am-4pm) and 12pm finish on Fridays
- Plenty of optional overtime available
- Biannual company bonus based on company profits
The Person:
- Quality Inspector or similar
- Experience with CMM machines
- Willing to commute to workshop in Gloucester
