The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Technician to maintain and improve quality systems across our Eaglescliffe manufacturing site and co-manufacturing network.
You’ll investigate quality issues, manage corrective actions, support supplier development and use data to improve product quality, reduce defects and strengthen process capability. You’ll also provide technical guidance and coaching to Quality Coordinators and Product Testers.
🔍 Your impact
- Maintain and continually improve quality systems and standards
- Investigate defects, complaints and non-conforming materials
- Ensure packaging materials and finished products meet specifications
- Support supplier quality, development and performance improvement
- Analyse quality data and identify trends and emerging risks
- Lead root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving activities
- Manage calibration, product assessment and retained-sample systems
- Support new product development and product-change projects
- Drive defect reduction, waste reduction and right-first-time performance
- Coach and support the wider quality team

✅ What we’re looking for
- At least five years’ quality experience within FMCG or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and assurance principles
- Experience in supplier quality management and development
- Strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of quality tools such as SPC, DOE and FMEA
- Experience using structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methods
- An HND, HNC or equivalent qualification in a science or materials-based discipline
- Strong communication, collaboration and organisational skills
- Flexibility to travel to suppliers, co-manufacturers and external sites when required
