Position Summary
Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Ansty Park, Coventry
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Technician to join Parker Meggitt's growing Quality team. Supporting a £100m division within a £500m aerospace manufacturing site, you will play a key role in managing non-conforming product through the Clinic, ensuring quality issues are assessed, controlled and resolved efficiently within a highly regulated aerospace and defence environment.

Working closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement and Design teams, you will manage the flow of product through the Clinic, making informed disposition decisions and ensuring quality concerns are progressed within agreed timescales. As you develop in the role, you will become increasingly involved in KPI analysis and continuous improvement activities, helping to identify trends, support corrective actions and contribute to wider zero-defect initiatives.
This additional headcount has been created due to continued business growth and increased Clinic activity, providing excellent exposure across the organisation and a recognised pathway into future Quality Engineer opportunities.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the role:
- Process non-conforming material through the Clinic, ensuring products are correctly dispositioned and progressed in a timely manner
- Assess and triage quality issues, determining whether products should be salvaged, scrapped, returned to suppliers or investigated further
- Perform containment and read-across activities to minimise quality risk and support production continuity
- Maintain accurate SAP records, trackers and Clinic metrics to ensure compliance and performance visibility
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers and cross-functional teams to support investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications
Skills required:
- HNC/HND in relevant discipline, or equivalent experience gained within a manufacturing or quality environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and manufacturing documentation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and support data-driven improvements
- Excellent communication and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions
