Quality Technologist
Location: Hyde
Shift: 3 week shift rotation days/earlies and lates
We're looking for a Quality Technologist to join our team and help champion food safety, quality, and compliance across a fast-paced food manufacturing site.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Technologist, you'll be at the heart of our operation, working closely with production teams to ensure products meet the highest standards while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
You'll
- Drive food safety and quality standards across the factory
- Support customer, BRC, and third-party audits
- Investigate quality issues and lead root cause analysis activities
- Manage supplier complaints and non-conformances
- Lead validation projects including hygiene, allergen, and product claim verification
- Conduct factory inspections, line walks, and compliance checks
- Coordinate mock recalls and traceability exercises
- Support key suppliers, including pest control and chemical providers
- Promote a positive food safety and quality culture across site
- Help deliver our "Go for Zero" safety agenda

What We're Looking For
- Experience in a Quality or Technical role within food manufacturing
- Good knowledge of BRC standards and food industry regulations
- HACCP and Food Safety Level 3 qualification
- Food Science, Food Technology, or a related qualification
- Experience supporting customer or third-party audits
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and technical reporting systems
