Hays are now looking for an SC Cleared Quality Test Engineer for one of our local clients:
£350 p/d Inside IR35
Remote, with occasional travel to Hursley and London (2-3 days per month)
Candidates must hold current SC Clearance
Option for candidates to be upgraded to DV!
We're looking for a Quality/Test Engineer with experience in test automation and performance testing to support the delivery of software solutions within an Agile environment. You'll be involved throughout the testing lifecycle, helping to ensure applications are robust, scalable and fit for purpose.
What you'll be doing
- Creating and executing test cases across multiple technology stacks
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Designing and implementing performance testing strategies
- Executing performance and load testing activities
- Investigating issues through debugging, tracing and log analysis
- Working closely with developers and stakeholders in an Agile delivery team
- Supporting CI/CD and quality assurance processes

What we're looking for
- Current SC Clearance
- Experience in software testing and test automation
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices
- Experience with performance testing and test strategy creation
- Java Experience
- Selenium and BrowserStack experience
- Knowledge of debugging, logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Azure Application Insights, Azure Event Hub, Adobe Insights or Qualtrics
- Experience with Gatling and Azure DevOps
- Automation scripting experience
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of Docker and application architecture principles
