Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop platform strategy and associated roadmaps for evolution of the Technology-Quant interface layer with associated capabilities to support business use cases
  • Partner closely with the Investment Solutions Quant team to define and agree interface definitions for the Quant models
  • Responsible for defining required interfaces to Technology products and driving agreement and delivery across relevant parties
  • Accountable for delivering value for the platform by defining the overall Technology-Quant interface vision and tracking delivery outcomes
  • Work closely with Technology and where appropriate develop and build the platform with the delivery teams to ensure they build the right functionality that creates business values
  • Act as a Technical Lead to create, prioritize, and refine the backlog, ensuring the delivery of high-value features and components that align with business objective
  • Drive the establishment and growth of the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to achieve high-quality outcomes

Key Skills and Technical Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills to provide transparency with business partners, technology leads, and other key stakeholders on progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Strong experience of Excel, C++ & Python
  • Experience of leading teams either in the Quant Development space or closely related areas (i.e. Quant or Tech teams operating on similar interface layer topics)

Other Skills and Attributes:

  • Minimum 10 years experience working in a Financial Services organisation
