Ready to build multi-asset investment models that shape our House View?

Why HSBC

HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world. Guided by our purpose of opening up a world of opportunity, our ambition is to become the world’s most trusted bank globally, putting customers at the heart of everything we do.

The Opportunity

HSBC Asset Management is hiring a Quantitative Analyst to join our Global Investment Strategy Team in the Global CIO’s Office in the United Kingdom. This is a very unique opportunity where you’ll support the HSBC AM House View by maintaining and enhancing quantitative models and systems used for top-down research and investment decision-making across the global investment platform. The work spans fixed income, global equities, currencies and alternatives using traditional valuation frameworks, higher-frequency models and alternative datasets. You’ll partner closely with strategists and investment teams and help communicate analytical findings and investment perspectives internally and externally. Success means robust data, dependable models and clear insights that strengthen expected return views across asset classes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
