Role Purpose

Act as the bridge between Risk Management, Strats and Technology to set up market data models as the business grows.

You will work closely with the Risk and Quant/Strats teams, requiring an understanding technical and data requirements while also proactively engaging with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk onboarding of new products, desks & business lines
  • Standardised trade data model across ETRMs
  • Set up and configure market data required to support new desks
  • New risk calculations
  • BAU support of risk processes

Required Skills & Experience

  • BA experience in Market Risk, ideally commodities/energy or financial markets.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and data structures across ETRM platforms.
  • Practical knowledge of market risk and how they are implemented in risk systems.
  • Experience with data modelling, mapping and dictionaries.
  • Strong stakeholder management, working directly with quant team and Risk, Front Office, and Controls.
  • Experience working with Jira.
