Opportunity Overview

We are collaborating with a mid-sized multi-manager investment platform focused on allocating capital to established Quantitative Portfolio Managers (PMs) executing systematic futures strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The opportunity is targeted at PMs with a demonstrated live track record, a clearly defined source of alpha, and a strategy capable of scaling.

Strategy Requirements

  • Strategy Profile
    • Systematic strategies trading liquid futures markets.
    • Strategies should generally be relative value, market neutral, beta neutral, or net delta neutral.
    • Directional strategies are acceptable only if there is no overnight holding.
    • Strategies should have a clear and repeatable source of alpha with performance attributable to the investment process, not broad market exposure.
    • The strategy must demonstrate credible scalability, disciplined risk management, and resilience across different market environments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is not a search for a generic systematic futures profile. The interest lies in PMs who have developed a genuinely differentiated and defensible trading process with sufficient evidence to justify meaningful capital allocation.

For the right individual, the platform offers the infrastructure, capital base, and support required to scale an established strategy while maintaining significant ownership over the investment process, with a strong compensation structure.

Confidentiality

All conversations will be treated confidentially. Please message directly if you would like to discuss the opportunity.
