Overview
Susquehanna is seeking talented graduates to join their growing London office in August 2027. As a quantitative strategy developer at Susquehanna, you'll be part of a high-performing team that builds some of the most powerful trading systems in the finance industry. This is a computationally intensive role that will allow you to utilize both your data analysis and technology skills.
You will have the chance to work on challenging projects related to systems that support both active trading and quantitative analysis. You'll tackle complex problems for our trading strategy development teams in areas such as signal creation and detection, quantitative strategy analysis, and low-latency C++ strategy development. You'll also work desk-side, alongside senior developers who understand the nuances of building complex trading strategies.
What we’re looking for
- Class of 2027: You are a master’s or bachelor’s student in their final year of study, majoring in a quantitative and/or STEM discipline such as computer science, computer engineering, mathematics or data science for example.
- Clear Communicator: You enjoy building relationships with those you work closely with and are comfortable sharing ideas, expressing your thoughts, and listening to the views of others.
- Ambitious: You’re someone that enjoys setting personal goals and giving your all to achieve them. Be it in Arts, Sports, Academics, or another passion; you’re not afraid to put in the effort to reach your full potential.
- Technically Proficient: Strong software development skills in (Python and a compiled language). Experience and comfort working with data using libraries such as Pandas, Polars, or NumPy. You will have exceptional quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills.
- Problem Solver: When it comes to solving problems, you use clear and sound reasoning. You’re rational and like to use numbers and data to come up with sensible solutions.

The interview process for this role will be a series of interviews including coding, mathematics, system design and behavioural interviews.
