Prop Quant Trader

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Quant Trader to join our high profile client. Our client is a well known and established proprietary trading firm operating in the FX and Crypto markets.

They are now pushing out several new Crypto strategy using a number of institutional exchanges. The role involves helping create the strategy and allow it to execute accordingly.

The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code. This is a role for techies, those who are motivated by the sharp end of technology and the possibility of making serious money doing something you are passionate about.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and iterate high-frequency trading strategies Crypto / OTC / FX
  • Build and optimize predictive models and signals for execution and hedging
  • Interact with Trading, Research and other technical groups to understand the business requirements.

Quant Traders MUST have:

  • An MSc/BSc in computing or mathematics
  • Experience in a prop trading firm or hedge fund
  • Experience in Alpha generation over flow trading
  • Ideally MM exposure
  • Some competence in Rust, Go or Python or Java

My client is based in across Europe with several offices although this role allows remote work.
