Role: QTL
As a QTL, you will lead a team of trading supervisors across multiple systematic trading desks spanning listed and OTC asset classes. Build, manage, and mentor a team of junior traders who monitor live trading and advance the trading operations platform. You will own project planning and backlog coordination within the team plus be a key stakeholder to firm-wide initiatives. This role collaborates with management, research and development, and trading counterparties.

Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of junior traders with the goal of grooming them into high-caliber contributors. Be a point of escalation for system or process failures
- Design process and technology, then coordinate the implementation effort
- Develop market microstructure expertise across regions and asset class
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers on issues relating to production trading operations
- Interface with external brokers or counterparties
- Lead strategic projects as appropriate
Requirements
- 5+ year experience in systematic trading operations and a passion for markets
- Leadership experience
- A process-oriented approach to trading and a zero-tolerance attitude towards error
- A technical background in Python, capable of designing production technology
- Demonstrable clarity of thought and high-quality communications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline
