About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Commercial team. Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you’ll support the commercial delivery of multiple projects, helping ensure they are delivered within budget while maximising commercial opportunities and managing risk. You’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams across Project Management, Finance, Installation, Sales and Design.

- A Quantity Surveying degree, ideally at 2:1 or above.
- Relevant Quantity Surveying or commercial experience.
- Experience within the house-building sector is desirable.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Experience with cost control, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Experience with contracts and subcontract management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with a genuine interest in working in a high-growth business.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing project budgets, forecasts and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).
- Maximising commercial opportunities through variations and value engineering.
- Managing client, supplier and subcontractor relationships.
- Supporting contract and subcontract reviews and administration.
- Producing and negotiating variations using cost data, quotations and SORs.
- Reviewing valuations, progress claims and cost reports.
- Identifying and managing commercial risks across projects.
- Working with Sales to identify estimating risks, scope gaps and opportunities to improve future projects.
- Providing commercial support and reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor.
