Job Description
What is the main purpose of this role?
Contribute to the success of a variety of projects ranging in value and sectors. You’ll need to have strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail to enhance our project management capabilities. You will play a key role in analysing budgets, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of a variety of projects.

This is a new role as the result of continued success and our ability to deliver a tailored and quality service.
What will be my core responsibilities?
- Review construction plans, providing detailed quantity and cost requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including site managers, clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide senior-level support to site-based contract staff and oversee the validation, valuation, and forecasting process on Facilities Management contracts.
- Estimating and WIP support on SOR-based Facilities Management contracts.
- Complete labour loading and pricing schedules for Facilities Management tender returns.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, analysis, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other essential documents.
- Document changes in design promptly, updating budgets to reflect modifications accurately.
- Establish and foster professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective project execution.
- Travel to various sites as required to oversee project progress and address on-site challenges.

Qualifications
- A sound knowledge and experience of project cost and commercial management in projects up to £3m in value.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when working with costs and measurements.
- An ability to organise, plan, and prioritise to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain a network of professional relationships.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as necessary.
You will ideally have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
- Construction estimating experience within the UK construction or facilities management industry.
