Quantity Surveyor – Construction

Bristol, UK (Site Based)

Your new company

We are working with a highly established specialist construction and engineering business delivering complex projects across the defence, energy and data sectors. With more than four decades of industry experience, they have built a reputation for delivering technically challenging projects where quality, commercial control and specialist expertise really matter. Their portfolio spans major refurbishments, installations, new-build facilities and secure, highly regulated environments.

As their project portfolio continues to grow, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor in Bristol.

Your new role

You will join the commercial team working on high-value, technically complex construction projects, taking ownership of the commercial and contractual performance of your projects from procurement through to final account. Working closely with project leadership, site teams, clients and the supply chain, you will have a genuine influence on project outcomes — protecting margins, maximising value and ensuring projects are commercially successful.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
