Quantity Surveyor

Drive commercial excellence across complex facilities and infrastructure projects

Ready to take your Quantity Surveying career to the next level?

If you’re looking for a role where your commercial expertise can make a genuine difference, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

Our client is a respected organisation operating within the facilities management and infrastructure sector, and they’re looking for a driven, commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This is more than a role focused on costs and contracts. You’ll be working in a complex, fast-moving environment where commercial insight, collaboration, and sound judgement are key to delivering successful projects and achieving value for money.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role across the full commercial lifecycle, supporting a range of facilities and infrastructure projects.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Scoping and pricing voids and project works
  • Managing commercial reporting, cost modelling, and forecasting
  • Monitoring costs, risks, and financial performance
  • Managing change control and ensuring robust commercial governance
  • Working with operational teams, clients, and supply-chain partners
  • Ensuring works are delivered to the required standards, on time, and within budget
  • Supporting commercial negotiations and dispute resolution
  • Building strong, effective stakeholder relationships
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and developing commercial best practice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
