Quantity Surveyor (Civils & Infrastructure)

Roxburgh Murray Associates Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Edinburgh, supporting a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, renewable energy and high-value residential projects.

Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role in the commercial management of projects, with a strong focus on valuations, variations, contract administration, procurement and subcontractor accounts.

The Role

  • Manage valuations, applications for payment, variations and final accounts.
  • Maintain accurate commercial records, notices, deadlines and supporting evidence.
  • Support procurement, subcontractor accounts, cost reporting and forecasting.
  • Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and senior management.
  • Contribute to improving commercial processes, reporting and best practice.

About You

We are looking for a technically strong Quantity Surveyor with 3–5 years’ experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role, ideally within main contracting, civil engineering, infrastructure, renewables or a similar environment. You will have strong valuation, variation and final account experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage your own workload.

A BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent qualification is required.

Experience of NEC3/4 and FIDIC contracts would be advantageous, as would experience using CEMAR.
