About the Role
Our client is an established and growing construction business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors. Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career with a well-established contractor offering long-term stability in education, healthcare, and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the commercial aspects of projects from contract award through to completion
- Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
- Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers
- Reviewing and agreeing subcontractor applications, variations, and final accounts
- Managing valuations, payment applications, and cash flow
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
- Preparing and submitting variations and loss and expense claims
- Monitoring project costs against budgets and forecasts
- Working closely with Project Managers and Site Teams
- Assisting with contractual matters and ensuring compliance with the relevant contract
- Preparing and agreeing final accounts
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and reporting to senior management

Salary
Up to £60,000 plus car/allowance
