Quanity Surveyor?? Perth?? Competitve Salary Depending on Salary ? 40 hour working week

A civil engineering construction company serving commercial and public sector clients across Scotland is looking for a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Role Description

The individual in this role will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and managing Bills of Quantities
  • Monitoring project costs
  • Supporting cost planning from tender through to final account

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability in cost control and cost management to support project budgets and financial performance
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and related measurement documentation
  • Skills in cost planning, including estimating, forecasting, and supporting tender submissions
  • Competence in cost reporting, including regular financial updates, variance analysis, and final accounts

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with standard MS Office tools and quantity surveying or cost management software
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with site and office-based colleagues
  • Knowledge of civil engineering construction methods, contracts, and industry standards is highly beneficial
