Quantity Surveyor
📍 New Alresford, Hampshire
Coleman Building Company is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. The role involves managing the commercial delivery of multiple high-end residential projects with minimal supervision.
This is a full-time position, based at our head office in New Alresford and our project sites across Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing subcontract tender enquiries and analysing subcontractor returns
- Procurement and package management
- Variation management and change control
- Valuations and payment applications
- Cost reporting, CVRs, budget monitoring and forecasting
- Strong final account negotiation
- Reviewing contracts and identifying commercial risks

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have at least 5 years' experience in the Quantity Surveying role
- Have strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Be confident dealing with clients, subcontractors and consultants
- Have experience in residential construction, refurbishment and main contracting
- Have experience with JCT contracts
- Have strong Excel skills; experience with Xero or Procore would be advantageous
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Be organised, proactive and commercially driven

💷 £65,000 per annum (including car allowance)
