Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Fit Out - Central London

Location: Central London

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + Benefits

Reporting to: Commercial Manager

About the Division

You will join a high-performing team delivering high-end refurbishments ranging up to £30m. This role offers autonomy, responsibility, and the ability to commercially deliver prestigious projects.

These are typically Design & Build, 2-stage tenders involving refurbishments, fit-out, M&E, groundworks, and demolition within a complex existing structure.

Operating across commercial, residential, retail, education, and hospitality sectors, they often work within occupied environments, requiring innovative, considerate approaches to ensure minimal disruption and maintain business continuity. Every project is delivered with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full commercial management of projects up to £10m.
  • Prepare proposals, bids, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with directors and project teams on scope, risk, and delivery.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure quality standards.
  • Mentor and develop future talent as the team expands.
  • Contribute to strategic growth and succession planning.

About You:

  • Experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record in high-quality fit-out or refurbishment projects.
  • Comfortable managing projects independently without assistants.
  • Excellent commercial and risk management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Ambitious, with a clear path to Commercial Director as part of succession planning.
