Are you a recent Quantity Surveying graduate or have 1-3 years' experience within the construction industry? Looking to build your career with a leading contractor delivering exciting construction projects?
We are recruiting for a motivated Graduate/Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team. The Role
Working alongside Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, you'll support the commercial management of projects from tender through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cost planning, procurement and subcontract management.
- Support the preparation and submission of valuations and applications for payment.
- Help manage subcontractor accounts, payments and variations.
- Assist with cost reporting, forecasting and budget control.
- Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
- Prepare measurements and take-offs.
- Support the commercial team with contract administration.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, subcontractors and project teams.
- Help identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

About You
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and develop their commercial career. You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Graduate level or up to 2-3 years' Quantity Surveying experience.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
