Where will you be working?

At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

This role is in our Mobile networks team, our team is responsible for keeping the country connected through the survey, design, installation and maintenance of private 5G networks, small cells, supporting Smart Cities & Connected infrastructure across the Group. Want to come and be a part of it?

What will you be doing?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a vital part in transforming infrastructure by managing the commercial performance of your programme. You’ll work closely with operational, finance and procurement teams, ensuring robust controls are in place to meet all commercial requirements. You will be responsible for preparing accurate valuations and payment applications, tracking certifications and payments, and promptly escalating or resolving issues. Additionally, you’ll administer contracts, guide operational teams on compliance, and support senior colleagues with process improvements, while overseeing and mentoring junior team members to maintain quality.

You’ll validate supply chain cost data, manage subcontractor onboarding and payments, and resolve commercial issues efficiently. Rigorous record keeping is key, so you’ll maintain accurate commercial documentation and monitor contract performance through detailed cash flow and cost forecasting. By producing clear reports and supporting performance validation, you’ll help secure successful delivery and commercial outcomes for your projects.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have a degree in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline) and proven experience delivering complex projects in infrastructure or construction. Your commercial acumen is backed by a thorough understanding of NEC3 and NEC4 contract suites across varied project types. You’re skilled at managing relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and negotiation capabilities. Highly IT-literate, you’re confident using MS Office and analytical tools for effective data management and reporting. Professional memberships, experience with other contract forms, and exposure to diverse commercial environments are desirable and will help you continue to grow with us.
