Job Role
Eurovia Specialist Treatments is looking for a driven and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of specialist highway maintenance, surface treatment and infrastructure projects across the UK, playing a key role in delivering projects safely, efficiently and profitably.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple projects from contract award through to final account. Working closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors, you will help ensure projects are delivered on budget whilst maintaining strong commercial controls.
Duties
- Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from inception to completion.
- Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
- Monitoring project costs, forecasts and financial performance.
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
- Reviewing subcontractor accounts, payments and variations.
- Supporting project teams with contractual advice and dispute resolution.
- Producing accurate cost reports and commercial updates for senior management.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.

Person Specification
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within highways, civil engineering, infrastructure or construction.
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
- Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills.
- Experience managing subcontractors and supplier accounts.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline preferred.
- Membership of RICS or working towards chartership would be advantageous.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time - 40 - Monday to Friday
