Project Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor – South Dublin
Experience:
- 5+ years
Some of the duties of the role include assisting the company in the following priority areas:
- Construction project cost control, cost management and cost planning.
- BOQ management along with preparation and value reporting.
- Contract & procurement management.
- Project management of multiple projects.
- Acting as an important contributor to estimation of projects and the development of pricing documents and work packages.
- Valuation, negotiation and agreement of project variations, instructions, and price & programme adjustments.
- Representing the business in a professional manner when attending various meetings with clients and design teams.

Requirements:
- Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
- 5+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction projects with a building contractor.
- Strong time management skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site.
- Ability to work on their own and be self-motivated.
- Strong IT skills, proficient in all Microsoft office packages including Microsoft Project and Buildsoft estimating software.
