Adeo Global Consulting
Our ambition is to be a SME employer of choice, to provide a great place to work. We take equality and inclusion seriously and hold ourselves to account for our actions. We are committed to continuous investment in our people, whether they are starting out on their career or are an established professional.
Our multi-disciplined team of fully qualified Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, Planners, Risk Managers, Claim Consultants and Project Managers, provide clients with solutions to maximise profit and reduce risk.
Our client portfolio includes both contractors and consultants across the industry spectrum. You may be assigned on either short term or long-term programmes. Our services are tailored to meet the requirements of each client and you may be seconded as part of an Adeo team or you may lead a client team.
The Role
We are recruiting for Quantity Surveyors to join our Rail & Highways Consultancy Business Unit to focus on our clients in the South East region to facilitate the company's growth. We have a handful of highways options that you would be considered for too, depending on your expertise we will decide together which option is the best for you. The role itself will however be a hybrid one, ideally with a few days a week in the clients office/our offices with home working for the rest of the week. Of course when you are seconded to a client we have to be as accommodating to their needs as we can, but we are finding in the current market home working with occasional trips to site is the new norm.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
