Role Description

- Preparing and reviewing bills of quantities
- Tracking budgets
- Monitoring project expenditures
- Producing regular cost reports for internal stakeholders and clients

The role involves supporting tender preparation, assessing variations, valuing completed work, and contributing to contract administration to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Portsmouth, with a mix of on-site visits, office-based work, and some work from home.
Qualifications
- Strong cost management skills, including Cost Control and Cost Management
- Skills in project cost planning, including Cost Planning and Cost Reporting
- Experience in quantity measurement and documentation, including BOQ preparation and review
- Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working on civil engineering, groundworks, or infrastructure projects, ideally with deep drainage or concreting works
- Strong numerical, analytical, and IT skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets and cost management software
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and communicate clearly with site teams, suppliers, and clients
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a hybrid working environment
