Plymouth
£50,000-£60,000 & Package
Sphere Solutions are working with a Tier 1 Contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor, working on a local landmark schemes in Plymouth and the surrounding areas.
The day to day…
- Sub-contractor procurement
- Commercial responsibility for more than one site at any one time
- Valuations, variations and final accounts
- Reporting on financial performance, including forecasting, profit / loss, cash flow, etc.
- Contract compliance
- Sitting in on meetings and liaising with the client, subcontracts and supply chain
- Update and advise on all commercial information to the wider team

What we need from you…
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a large regional contractor or Tier 1
- You will ideally have a HND or Degree in a construction related discipline.
- Strong cost management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to produce accurate valuations and reports
