QUANTITY SURVEYOR
FIRE LEGACY | DEVELOPER, LONDON
Curated Search is partnering with an established residential developer to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of its existing legacy sites and High-Risk Building projects across London & the South.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the commercial management of a varied portfolio of residential buildings and remediation works, working closely with senior commercial and technical colleagues. The role offers genuine responsibility across procurement, cost management and financial control, supporting the continued delivery of the developer’s Fire Legacy programme.
The Role:
You will provide commercial oversight across a number of live projects, ensuring effective cost management, procurement and financial reporting. Working alongside the Technical team, you will assess the commercial implications of remedial works, scope changes and additional requirements, helping to maintain control and visibility throughout each project.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the commercial delivery of Fire Legacy and HRB projects across London.
- Leading procurement activity, including tender reviews, package negotiation and subcontractor appointments.
- Managing valuations, variations, change control and payments.
- Preparing and maintaining CVRs, cost reports, budgets and forecasts.
- Assessing the commercial impact of remedial works, scope changes and additional requirements.
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities, supporting effective cost control and value.
- Managing subcontractor accounts through to final account.
- Working collaboratively with Commercial, Technical and Construction teams across multiple live projects.
About You:
- Experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in residential development, housebuilding or main contracting.
- Strong understanding of commercial management within complex construction projects.
- Developer or housebuilder experience highly desirable.
- Experience across Fire Legacy, remediation or HRB projects advantageous, but not essential.
- Exposure to cladding, façade, drylining or other specialist remedial works welcomed.
- Strong experience across procurement, valuations, variations, CVRs, forecasting and final accounts.
- A sound understanding of JCT contracts and subcontract management.
- The ability to assess commercial risks and manage project costs with confidence.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage competing priorities across a portfolio of projects.

- Salary up to £75,000
- £6,000 car allowance
