Your role
- Deliver cost planning, estimating, and budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce estimates, budget reviews, and commercial assessments across a range of projects and sectors.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret cost and project data to support client and stakeholder decision-making.
- Prepare benchmarking, value management, and cost assurance outputs, identifying trends, risks, and key cost drivers.
- Ensure commercial data, forecasts, and reports are accurate, robust, and maintained throughout project delivery.
- Build effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams while providing commercial advice and support.
- Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and the development of tools, dashboards, and digital solutions to enhance commercial performance and reporting.

About you
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent relevant experience, with progress towards professional chartership (RICS or equivalent).
- Experience in cost planning, estimating, benchmarking, and commercial management within infrastructure, construction, or related sectors.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively.
- Knowledge of standard methods of measurement and cost management principles.
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, cost management tools, and data analysis software; knowledge of BIM and digital measurement systems is advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships.
- A proactive and innovative approach, with strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
