Dedicated Banking Client City of London
About The Role
We’re looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a unique, high-profile position supporting one of our largest global banking clients, based in the heart of the City of London.
This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated client account, providing critical cost insight and commercial support across a dynamic portfolio of projects. You’ll be working closely with project managers, leasing teams, and client stakeholders, playing a key role in shaping real estate decisions through data-driven cost management.
As part of CBRE’s Building Consultancy team, you’ll contribute to delivering best-in-class solutions in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where your work will have real visibility and impact.
What You’ll Do
- Produce high-quality cost estimates to support feasibility studies and business cases, using a combination of internal benchmarking and market data
- Partner with project managers and leasing teams to evaluate costs and optimise tenant improvement allowances and landlord contributions
- Review and analyse bid responses, levelling data and presenting clear, concise insights to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Ensure all estimates, cost plans, and change orders are accurate and fully aligned with project requirements
- Monitor and evaluate allowances, contingencies, and reserves, maintaining up-to-date cost plans
- Support the financial close-out process, including release of withholdings and verification of funding approvals
- Capture and maintain project cost data to support benchmarking databases and continuous improvement
- Translate complex cost information into clear insights for both internal teams and client stakeholders

What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 2–5 years’ relevant experience in cost management or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and cost data
- Good understanding of costing principles, procedures, and industry standards
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
- A detail-oriented, inquisitive mindset with strong organisational skills
- Confidence communicating and presenting information to internal teams and client stakeholders
- Strong numerical ability, including working with financial calculations and cost modelling
