JOB SUMMARY
To lead the commercial activity on retro fit projects and provide commercial expertise, to ensure profitability and financial rigor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead on Quantity Surveying activities on live retro fit projects.
- Cost control, invoicing & project management to ensure margin expectations are delivered.
- Find costs savings on projects, through tight commercial management.
- Manage overall cost plan on projects and ensure cashflow is maximized and project delivered on budget.
- Manage delivery and customer liaison on ECO & Green Homes Grant insulation installs.
- Ensure all payment applications are within budget and ensure best value is achieved.
- Carry out commercial analysis on live SMS projects and provide relevant commercial advice.
- Maintain project documentation and cost breakdown, to supply month end project figures.
- Support finance team in maintaining detailed cost / invoicing on live SMS projects.
- Assist in establishing client requirements and undertake feasibility studies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Experience of working as Quantity Surveyor in UK.
- Experience of energy efficiency retrofit projects.
- Understanding of key Microsoft packages.
CREDENTIALS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Quantity Surveyor accreditation.
- Supervisory experience an advantage.
- Good Organisational skills.
- Ability to train and support staff.
