Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure Projects

I'm working with a leading construction consultancy that is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Complex Projects team. The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in the successful delivery of projects from a commercial and cost management perspective. Responsibilities will include:
- Contract administration of NEC4 contracts across a variety of main options.
- Budgeting, forecasting, risk management and cost reporting.
- Managing payment processes and supporting interim valuations.
- Ensuring contractual obligations and timescales are complied with on behalf of clients.
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver cost planning and cost reporting in line with project programmes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and contractors.
- Attending site meetings and undertaking site-based duties where required.
- Assisting with the assessment and agreement of final accounts.
- Taking pride in representing both the profession and the business to a high standard.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy, contractor or similar environment.
- An interest in, or commitment towards, achieving Chartered status with the RICS or equivalent professional body.
- NEC3 and/or NEC4 contract experience, although this would be advantageous rather than essential.
- Knowledge of standard methods of measurement.
- Strong numeracy, literacy, communication and IT skills.
- A professional and collaborative approach, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- A good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- A genuine desire to continue learning and developing within the Quantity Surveying profession.
