The role of Quantity Surveyor – Commercial & Industrial Construction will involve:

  • Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a varied range of commercial & industrial works, including new build, refurbishment and fit-out
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, quotations, and tender submissions including labour, materials, prelims, and programme considerations
  • Liaising with Site / Contract Managers to ensure each project is successfully running
  • Updating any changes to the agreed contract scope
  • Building strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors
  • Working on up to 6 projects at one time, varying in size from £40k to £2m

The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor – Commercial & Industrial Construction with:

  • Must have extensive Quantity Surveying experience within the commercial or/and industrial sector (open to candidates from varied backgrounds including; fit-out, design & build, building products, civils, drainage etc.)
  • Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Full UK driving license
