Right across infrastructure, there’s a need not just to maintain, but to improve and protect the environment around us. Wherever you are in your career, you’ll have the opportunity to grow, develop and make a real difference. We deliver essential infrastructure services for life, with a safety-first, environmentally responsible and customer-focused approach — all within a supportive, down-to-earth environment where people are encouraged to thrive.

Where you'll be working?

You’ll be part of our Capital Delivery team, supporting major infrastructure projects across water and wastewater networks. Our work helps safeguard water supplies, improve environmental performance and ensure long-term resilience of critical assets.

Our teams operate in complex, high-risk environments from large-scale construction sites to sensitive environmental locations where effective environmental management is key to successful delivery. You’ll work closely with operational teams to ensure environmental risks are understood and controlled from design through to construction.

What you'll be doing?

You’ll manage all project costs and values to maximise profitability, ensuring Morrison and client processes are followed. Accurate valuation of completed work and supporting monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) are key aspects. You’ll focus on strong cash performance by minimising Work in Progress (WIP) and securing timely payments. Building effective relationships, negotiating confidently, and overseeing procurement of subcontractors are essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
