Salary: Up to £65,000 | Clear Progression Opportunity

Are you a Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career?

I'm working with a leading specialist contractor looking for an ambitious QS who wants to progress into a Senior Quantity Surveyor position, with the opportunity to make that step within the next 12 months.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has built a solid commercial foundation and is ready for more responsibility, greater ownership of projects and a clear route into senior management.

The Role

  • Manage the commercial aspects of specialist engineering and construction projects.
  • Take responsibility for valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts.
  • Support subcontract procurement and commercial negotiations.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasts, and commercial performance.
  • Work closely with operational teams to maximise project value and profitability.
  • Develop your commercial and leadership skills with a view to stepping up to Senior QS.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
