Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and experienced individual to become a Quantity Surveyor with our growing client in Glasgow!
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location of work: On-site
Your Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing the costs, ensuring projects are completed to the pre-determined budget
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
- Reporting periodically on the status of the individual projects
- Liaising with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers, engineers, and designers
- Ensuring the company on-site processes are carried out, and health & safety procedures are followed
- Reporting and documenting of all site-based processes and events

The Ideal Quantity Surveyor Will Have
- HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying (essential)
- Good working knowledge of specialist software such as CostX or Bluebeam
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- The ability to negotiate, persuade and motivate others
- Strong data analysis skills
- Full UK driving licence
