Job Description
Quantity Surveyor – Major Infrastructure Project | Cumbria
£40,000 – £45,000 + £5K Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
Cumbria (Site-Based with Flexibility)
Permanent | Full-Time (45 hours, flexible options available)

The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be a critical part of the commercial team, responsible for ensuring strong financial performance across your work packages. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing commercial resources and contract performance
- Preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and claims
- Monitoring costs and forecasting financial outcomes
- Identifying and managing commercial risks
- Driving cash flow through effective measurement and valuation

- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
- Experience in a commercial role within construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong contractual and financial awareness
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
- A proactive, team-oriented approach
- Full UK driving licence
