Quantity Surveyor – Fit Out
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Fit Out
Office: Rossendale
Area to Covered: North West
Remuneration: £60,000 - £80,000 neg DOE
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package
The role of Quantity Surveyor – Fit Out will involve:
- Quantity Surveyor position dealing with fit out projects for various sectors such as; residential, leisure, retail, healthcare, hotels, offices, pubs & restaurants
- Keeping up to date with site progress, recording progress made, and transferring information onto payment applications
- Prepare on-time monthly valuations following site measurements and work-in-progress reviews
- Keeping track of monthly application figures and ensuring relevant departments are aware of potential budget or financial constraints
- Reviewing labour schedules and comparing to actual progress on site
- Pricing variations and changes in line with subcontractor parameters
- Build, manage & maintain relationships with clients, contractors, other construction professionals, suppliers, and site staff

The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor – Fit Out with:

- Must have extensive Quantity Surveying experience within construction
- Ideally have strong understanding of fit out, plastering, drylining, ceilings etc
- Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
- Would consider a more junior/trainee with commercial experience with fit out or a quantity surveying graduate
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good team player who also works well individually
