Role: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: £55K/£60K + Package
Fawkes & Reece are proud to be partnering with a UK leading Tier 1 Main Contractor working on a prestigious and high profile £70m new build Education project in Sheffield.
As Quantity Surveyor you'll be managing commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin through the placement and control of contracts and subcontracts. You will be working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver this high end project reporting directly to them. Our client is offering a clear progression route to Senior and the opportunity to run your own scheme afterwards.

Duties of a Quantity Surveyor
Your day to day will include:
- Regular financial reporting
- Processing and administration of applications for payment upstream and downstream
- Managing relationships with the Client and the appointed professional team
- Collaborative working with all external and internal stakeholders
- Mentoring/managing an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to contribute to the growth of the hub
- Working on a portfolio of projects predominately involving new build housing schemes

- You demonstrate general construction knowledge
- You have experience of delivering projects under NEC and JCT Forms of Contract
- You are degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
