Project Quantity Surveyor\nInverness | Tier 1 Main Contractor | Major Multi-Year Project
Your new company
Our client is a highly respected Tier 1 main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering major construction projects across the UK. With a significant pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Inverness. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large, high-profile, multi-year project for a premium government client, providing genuine project security and long-term career prospects.
Your new role
Working as part of an experienced commercial and operational team, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of key packages on the project. Your responsibilities will include:
- Procurement and management of subcontract packages
- Cost reporting, forecasting, and commercial control
- Managing subcontractor applications, payments, and variations
- Identifying and managing commercial risk and opportunity
- Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team
- Supporting the project through to successful commercial completion

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with experience working within a main contracting environment. You should be commercially astute, comfortable managing subcontract packages, and keen to develop your career as a leading contractor. Applications are welcomed from experienced Quantity Surveyors or Project QSs looking to take on greater responsibility.
