Quantity Surveyor
Leatherhead, Surrey
£50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Private Healthcare + Pension + 25 Days Holiday
I'm working with a well-established, privately owned Chartered Quantity Surveying practice that's looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Leatherhead.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of your own projects from inception through to completion, working across a diverse portfolio of clients and projects that includes blue light, education and industrial developments, alongside healthcare, leisure, hotel, and commercial schemes.
With around 50 employees, the business has built an excellent reputation for delivering the full scope of cost consultancy services whilst offering its employees a supportive environment where you'll be trusted to manage your own workload whilst continuing to develop your career.
If you're working towards becoming Chartered, you'll benefit from a structured APC programme, with paid RICS membership fees, dedicated study leave, and support from several experienced Chartered Surveyors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
