We are hiring for an experienced and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to join our Lisburn team, the HQ for UK & Ireland operations. This career opportunity will see you managing the contractual and financial performance of high-profile client projects across the UK and Ireland, working across a broad range of industry sectors and helping to drive business success.
About the Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for all commercial and contractual aspects of our construction projects. Working closely with Contract Managers, Finance teams, and clients, you will provide expert commercial support from tender stage through to final account settlement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting tendering and contract negotiation processes through effective risk management and commercial analysis.
- Reviewing and negotiating customer contract terms to identify risks and opportunities.
- Developing, monitoring, and managing project budgets.
- Managing contract variations and identifying opportunities to maximize project revenue and profitability.
- Managing customer contractual correspondence and mitigating commercial risk.
- Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
- Producing financial forecasts and monitoring project profitability.
- Managing the commercial aspects of subcontractor agreements and budgets.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Qualified Quantity Surveyor and minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the construction or building products sector.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability.
- Sound understanding of construction contracts, including NEC3 and JCT.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and project schedules.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel and build strong customer relationships.
Desirable
- Experience using ERP systems.
