Quantity Surveyor – Potter Space (Leeds-based, UK-wide portfolio)
Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join the growing Potter Space team. As Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the commercial aspect of all the new build construction schemes, as well as take commercial lead on any major repairs and reactive works to the six business parks across the UK.

The Role
The role is based at our new modern headquarters in Leeds City centre with rooftop terrace, gym and close access to the train station with regular travel to our sites and Ripon Office a key requirement of the role.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial aspect of all the new build construction schemes
- Commercial lead on major repairs and reactive works to the six business parks
- To produce accurate cost information to support appraisals for new developments & providing estimates for “visions” and future expansion of the business parks
- To assist in writing/reviewing and submitting contracts for subcontractors working on our sites (both JCT & NEC)
- To assist the design team in both value engineering exercises and to assist with the planning stage of new proposals
- Providing valuations and application for payment
- Maintaining live CVRs, Cost to complete and final account documents for repair and development works
About You
- Experience in Quantity Surveying within commercial, industrial, or logistics environments
- Proven contractor and multi-site management experience
- Dependable, flexible and responsible individual with excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable: CIOB or RICS qualifications
