Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager (High-End Projects)
£65,000 - £75,000 + Company Bonus + Training + Development + Progression + Travel Allowance + Company Benefits
Croydon - London travel required
Are you a Quantity Surveyor or Contracts Manager with strong Excel calculation experience looking to take commercial ownership of prestigious high-end projects while developing your career within a highly respected specialist contractor?
This is a multiple award-winning specialist decorative plasterwork contractor delivering bespoke interior finishes across some of the UK's most prestigious commercial, residential and heritage projects. With over 300 years of history, they are renowned for exceptional craftsmanship, quality and innovation, working with leading architects, designers and main contractors.
In this role, you will take ownership of the commercial and contractual management of high-value projects from initial order through to completion and final account. You will work closely with clients, main contractors, site teams and internal departments, managing valuations, variations, costs, invoicing and forecasting to ensure projects remain commercially successful. You will also use advanced Excel calculations and reporting tools to analyse project performance, support financial decision-making and maximise project profitability.

This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor or Contracts Manager looking to take ownership of prestigious high-end projects while joining a specialist contractor offering excellent progression, training and long-term earning potential.
The Role:
- Manage the commercial and contractual delivery of high-end commercial, residential and heritage projects valued between £100k - £1.5m across London and the South East
- Oversee projects from order stage through to completion and final account
- Manage valuations, variations, invoicing, costs and financial reporting
- Monitor project performance, forecasting and profitability using advanced Excel formulas and reporting tools
- Manage contractual relationships with clients, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
- Identify commercial risks, opportunities and potential variations throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure projects remain commercially controlled and delivered in line with contractual requirements
- Receive ongoing professional development, including SMSTS training
The Person:
- Quantity Surveying or Contracts Management experience within commercial construction
- Strong Excel calculation and reporting skills
- Commercially aware with experience managing project costs, valuations and variations
- Experience with contracts, final accounts and commercial reporting
- Experience within commercial, residential, heritage, interiors or fit-out environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Commutable to Croydon and happy to travel across London
