About The Role

Following two consecutive years of record sales and profitability, a leading Cardiff-based construction consultancy is continuing to expand and is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

With an impressive pipeline of projects secured across multiple sectors, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking consultancy. What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing cost consultancy services across all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Preparing detailed cost plans, budgets, estimates, and feasibility reports
  • Producing tender documentation and managing procurement processes
  • Undertaking valuations, cost reporting, and change control management
  • Administering contracts and advising clients on commercial matters
  • Attending client meetings and building strong stakeholder relationships
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
  • Contributing to the successful delivery of a varied portfolio of projects

Who We'd Love to Hear From:

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Previous consultancy/private practice Quantity Surveying experience
  • Experience delivering projects across a range of sectors desirable
  • Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
  • Working towards MRICS status or already chartered (preferred but not essential)
  • Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
