Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to play a key role in delivering high-quality façade projects? At Alumet, we are seeking a commercially focused and proactive individual to join our growing team.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of allocated projects, ensuring accurate valuations, effective cost control, maximised contractual entitlements, and strong cash flow performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting monthly valuations and final accounts.
- Assessing, pricing, and managing variations and change control.
- Administering subcontractor accounts, applications, and final accounts.
- Producing project cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and margin analysis.
- Managing contractual notices and commercial correspondence.
- Supporting project teams in identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and supporting audit requirements.
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a specialist subcontractor environment.
- A good understanding of JCT and NEC subcontract forms.
- Knowledge of valuations, variations, final accounts, cash flow, and margin management.
- Experience interpreting drawings and assessing changes in scope.
- Strong commercial awareness, organisation, and communication skills.
- A relevant qualification, ideally a BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
