Are you Quantity Surveyor with a background in refurbishment or fit out, thinking about a fresh start? Fawkes And Reece are proud to be working with regional contractor who specialise in commercial interior shop fitting across retail, commercial, hospitality and leisure sectors. My clients pride themselves on their client focus and excellent attention to detail, ensuring they are constantly providing the highest standards.
As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for working on state of the art refurbishment and fit out projects primarily across restaurants, bars and hotels. Typical project values range from £50k- - £4m.

- To be involved in negotiation of prices and obtaining quotes for works, materials and plant as required in compliance with company procedure
- To quality check invoice details from all suppliers, ensuring the company gets value for money on all jobs carried out.
- To build strong relationships with our customers to ensure open communication and expectations of invoicing is met at all times.
- To prepare and submit regular and accurate cost/value reports. To manage the commercial aspects of subcontracts in compliance with commercial procedures. Includes obtaining quotations, evaluating tender returns, valuing subcontract works and payments and agreeing subcontract final accounts.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Relevant Degree or Qualifications
- Experience of managing multiple projects.
- Proven experience of developing client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation and project management skills.
