Quantity Surveyor | EFT Construction
📍 Southport base with site visits
đź’· ÂŁ55,000 + ÂŁ5,000 Vehicle Allowance
EFT Group is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in the Construction division.
This is an opportunity to join an established, ambitious construction business where you’ll take commercial responsibility for 2–3 live projects, working closely with their operational teams from initial budgets and procurement through to final accounts.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the commercial performance of your projects, including:
- Managing project budgets, CVRs, cash flow and cost/value reporting
- Subcontractor procurement, negotiation and account management
- Preparing monthly valuations and managing client applications
- Identifying and valuing variations
- Monitoring costs, profitability and commercial risk
- Agreeing subcontractor and client final accounts
- Supporting tenders, estimating and project appraisals
- Working closely with Site Managers, Contracts Managers and clients
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team

About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Quantity Surveying experience
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Experience managing subcontractor packages and project accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- The confidence to take ownership of projects and work closely with operational teams
